Tomorrow night is the night for July's member meetings in Columbia and Myrtle Beach!
Columbia
Since we're not meeting on our usual date this month (first Tuesday of each month), Jillian's isn't available. So, we're going to all grab some barbecue together at Hudson's Smokehouse in Lexington.
If you've never been to Hudson's before, it is THE best BBQ in the world, bar none. I will accept no other arguments.
Seriously, it's excellent, and even if you don't like barbecue, they've got really good chicken, brisket, veggies, etc. We've got seating for 20 or so reserved in the front room, so come on out!
Tuesday, July 20 - 7:00 PM

The third annual CCR/SCR shootout is in the books, time for some thank yous.
Where to start?!?
Thank you Michelin! Mike, Andrew and the rest of their crew, the security guys, and the people in the office who said yes. Without your help and work this weekend would not have happened. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To all our core team; especially those who came early and stayed late. You make my job doable, I lean on you a lot because I respect your abilities and you willingness to do the jobs that most people do not see. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To my wife; who puts up with me, and luckily joins me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To Garrett and Beth; you didn't need to do all you did. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To Melanie; on top of everything else you do you brought us WATER without that one assist the weekend would have been dangerously brutal. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To my op stewards; you are an amazing crew I really am super glad I have you all on my side. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To everyone who came to me with comments and concerns; I heard you, and I appreciate your input. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To everyone who threw their trash, someone else's trash, their cigarettes, into a trash can rather then on the ground. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To all the drivers and their crews; we do this so you can have a good time, you are our customers and we hope we gave you a product you enjoyed and would come back to sample again. Thank you for coming to our event, we know you have choices and we are pleased you chose to play with us.
To all the others who I may have missed; spouses, boyfriends, girlfriends, crew members, children parents, everyone who supports and puts up with our hobby. It isn't because we don't notice your sacrifices it is because there are too many of you to name. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hey everybody,
uhmmm ...
So you may have noticed in the forum that we have had to postpone the 05 June event. (Sigh) I know it is less then pleasant but without a site it is hard to run an event. We really did have a site we were working with but yesterday (Tuesday 18 May) they let us know it was not going to work out for 05 June. I am sorry.
However we are working on some plans to include a new event later in the summer, and maybe a little special fun that wasn't even on the radar earlier. So stay tuned and we will keep the information flowing.
So for now our next event will be 26 – 27 June at Michelin, get yourselves ready for some Black Lake FUN. This is our annual chance to out drive the CCR crew so take the time to prep your cars, your minds, your bodies and come to the event ready, willing and able!!!
Thanks,
Thom
Official results are now online for Saturday's South Carolina Autocross Championship event at the Black Lake. Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday!
2010 Points have been updated as well.
Hey everybody,
I haven’t had any questions yet and if you follow the various forums you may already know this, but let me confirm that yes we will be holding a joint event with CCR on May 01 at Michelin. CCR has asked if they could join our event on Saturday rather then have two events at opposite ends of their region on two days. A little in the way of explanation may be needed Michelin is actually in CCR territory, we are just allowed to play there occasionally. CCR had an event planned for Sunday May 02 at Knights Stadium in Charlotte. Together we decided that it would be better for both regions to hold one joint event on Sat. at the REALLY big piece of asphalt. So join together with your CCR brethren and come on up to Michelin to show them how SCR does it.
Thom
