| What is a Minor Waiver? |
Every participant at an SCCA autocross must sign a waiver that accepts all risks and responsibilities that come from participation in an autocross event.
Since a minor cannot sign a waiver for themselves, the parents/guardians responsible for the minor must sign a waiver on their behalf.
Note that anyone who attends an SCCA autocross is construed as a "participant." |

| Any participant under the age of eighteen (18) is defined to be a minor. |

| Who must sign the Minor Waiver? |
BOTH parents/guardians must sign the Minor Waiver form. In the event of a divorced or deceased parent, a written statement must be provided by the responsible parent/guardian indicating that they have sole custody of the minor.
A minor may be admitted to the autocross with only one parent/guardian signature on the Minor Waiver IF they remain in non "hot" areas of the autocross site. This means that a minor may NOT drive or ride on course without BOTH parents/guardians' signatures on the Minor Waiver. |

| How old do you need to be to drive? |
| Anyone wishing to drive, work or otherwise be in a 'hot' area must be at least sixteen (16) years old. |

| How old do you need to be to ride? |
| Unfortunately, we cannot allow any riders who are not at least twelve (12) years old. |

| What is a "hot" area? |
| "Hot" areas at autocrosses are defined to be the grid area where cars are staged prior to entering the course, and the course itself. |

| Must the parents/guardians be present at the autocross? |
| No, as long as the minor has a signed Minor Waiver, they may participate. |

This form must be printed in COLOR to be a valid Minor Waiver form!!

| How long is the Minor Waiver valid? |
IF both parents/guardians sign the Minor Waiver form, it can be filled out with the designation "ALL EVENTS - ALL DATES." The Minor Waiver can then be used for all autocross events that season.
Minor Waiver forms that do not have both parent/guardian signatures are valid only for the event indicated on the Minor Waiver form. |
